DeltaBolt® Lockbolt System
The two-piece DeltaBolt® is a highperformance pin and collar system that dynamically locks and permanently fastens components.
It comprises a grade 8.8 pin and is available in diameters ranging from 4.8 mm to 9.6 mm. The system components marry perfectly with each other. This ensures that products are correctly assembled and also completely reliably and permanently fastened. The DeltaBolt® lockbolt system was developed in-house by Titgemeyer.
3D FEM simulation as well as structured analyses and optimisations have been employed to optimise key areas of the functional area geometries. The result is a fastening system that achieves the highest load applications and offers outstanding reference values compared to standard lockbolt systems measuring up to 9.6 mm in diameter.
Through the inclusion of positive lock, along with the functional area developed by Titgemeyer, the applied clamp force remains constant and undetachable - even under dynamic load. Using this system, the additional costs of regular maintenance that come with (high-strength) screw fittings can be eliminated.
