Our company's history is very closely linked with the industrial and technical changes over the years – from 1919 to the present day. Right from the outset, we have put the needs of our customers first and have always been one step ahead of the times. This has remained the case right up to today.

Anderton Springs is founded in Bingley, West Yorkshire and manufactures springs.

Anderton Limited begins production of retaining rings.

Ellison is established in Bingley, West Yorkshire and produces snap rings. In the same year, Anderton starts producing circlips.

Anderton expands in Europe and the USA and takes over the company Southcross Limited.

Ellison relocates to Harden and begins production of retaining rings.

Ellison develops its own wire production and introduces magazined rings.

Anderton receives the Queens Award for Export Achievement.

Anderton becomes part of the Aurora Group.

Anderton further develops the heat treatment production step. Ellison expands its range with disc springs and optimizes the galvanizing process.

SKF Fastening Systems acquires Anderton and simultaneously Seeger-Orbis in Germany, Seeger-Reno in Brazil and Truarc Waldes in the USA.

Anderton takes over the circlip producer Salterfix.

Anderton and Ellison independently obtain various certifications, such as DIN ISO 9002, VDA6 and EAQF A.

SKF Fastening Systems sells its retaining rings division to TransTechnology Corporation in the USA.

Ellison receives the Queens Award for Export Achievement for the third time. Seeger-Orbis closes the German plant in Archen and relocates the production site to Anderton.

Ellison moves to new factory location in Glusburn, West Yorkshire.

TransTechnology also acquires Ellison, closes the Bingley site and unites the companies at the Glusburn site.

TransTechnology withdraws and Cirteq Limited is founded.

Cirteq is certified for the first time according to the standard for the automotive industry, ISO/TS 16949:2009.

Cirteq acquires 14001:2015 certification for its environmental management system.

The German Titgemeyer Group acquires Cirteq Limited. This year Cirteq will also be certified according to the OHSAS/ISO 45001:2016 standard for occupational health and safety management.
