Starlock^® push-on fasteners have been developed for applications requiring fast, durable and efficient fastening on smooth (non-grooved) axles, shafts or cylindrical journals made of metal or plastic.

Starlock^® eliminates the need for costly tapping and grooving of the shaft and facilitates quick assembly.

Once in position, our Starlock^® push-on fasteners are so secure that they cannot be removed from the shaft without destroying it.

Manufactured from spring and stainless steel, Starlock^® is available in a variety of designs and finishes both with and without decorative caps.

Our push-on fasteners are available in a variety of shapes, for example for square axles, threaded bolts or as an Inlock version for tube mounting, to name but a few. However, our top seller is and remains the Starlock for round axles and shafts without a groove.

Manufactured as standard from spring steel 1.1231 or stainless steel 1.4310, we can cover many of your applications in the diameter range between 1.2 and 25.0 mm or in inch dimensions from 1/16‘-1’.

Varnished push-on fasteners

The metric version has a brownish colour, the imperial version a bluish colour.

The Hydroclear lacquer ensures a shiny appearance.

Mechanically galvanised Starlocks

The Inverplex coating achieves a good corrosion resistance of 280h against red rust and is the right choice for many applications that require corrosion protection.

Stainless steel push-on fasteners

Offer excellent corrosion protection and are also used where the use of coated push-on fasteners is not possible.

The decorative caps conceal the end of the shaft, giving your application an attractive appearance.

The standard and trapezoidal caps are made of stainless steel, the depth cap is galvanised steel.

We also offer standard and trapezoidal caps made of aluminium with a black cap. Our Starlock with plastic cap made of PA6 material can be supplied in any RAL colour.

The standard cap is made of stainless steel 1.4016 and has a dome-shaped appearance. The height is selected so that the Starlock can be pushed on sufficiently to provide a secure hold.

The trapezoidal cap is made of stainless steel 1.4016. The Starlock can be pushed on further than with the standard cap, which can be an advantage in some applications.

The depth cap is galvanised steel. This cap provides the maximum push-on depth.
